Omani Foreign Affairs Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi (pictured) announced Saturday that a fourth round of US-Iran talks is provisionally scheduled for May 3. Al Busaidi said that core principles, objectives, and technical concerns were addressed during today’s discussions in Muscat, led by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and White House special envoy Steve Witkoff.
"US Iran talks today identified a shared aspiration to reach agreement based on mutual respect and enduring commitments," he wrote on X.
According to Iran's state TV, the third round of negotiations concluded after six hours with expert-level talks now moving into a detailed review of each side’s demands, as delegations return to their capitals for consultations.
