The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) stated in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that its forces, alongside the Royal Jordanian Air Force, airdropped humanitarian aid into the northern part of the Gaza Strip on Sunday.
More than 13,080 meal equivalents of Jordanian food supplies were delivered, while the US provided over 25,000 Meals Ready to Eat (MREs). Four US Air Force C-130 aircraft airdropped the aid, in an effort to "provide essential relief to civilians in Gaza affected by the ongoing conflict."
According to CENTCOM's estimates, the US has airdropped approximately 1,110 tons of humanitarian assistance into Gaza thus far.
