South Korean and United States troops commenced joint river-crossing drills, Yonhap News Agency reported, citing the South Korean military.
According to the South's military, the primary objective of the exercise was to fortify the practical river-crossing capabilities of both nations.
The exercises took place at Namhan River in Yeoju, about 61 kilometers southeast of Seoul over the course of five days. Approximately 590 troops alongside 243 mechanized assets and aircraft were mobilized.
