US, Saudis agree to avert Iran nuclear program

The United States and Saudi Arabia agreed on the significance of barring Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, the Saudi state news agency said in a statement on Saturday after US President Joe Biden's meeting with Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

It was also noted that Biden confirmed America's dedication to providing support for Riyadh's "security and territorial defense" against external threats.

Yesterday, following the meeting Biden stressed that his administration "accomplished some significant business," confirming that Saudi Arabia would open its airspace for all civilian flights, including to and from Israel.
