The United States Senate is finalizing a bipartisan agreement on a bill about sanctions against Russia should it "invade" Ukraine, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Senator Bob Menendez (pictured) revealed on Sunday.
"I would describe it as we are on the one-yard line and hopefully we will be able to conclude successfully," he told CNN.
Earlier in the day, United Kingdom Foreign Secretary Liz Truss announced that Britain will be expanding the scope of potential sanctions against Russia next week.
