The United States Senate will vote on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s nomination for secretary of Health and Human Services at 10:30 am ET on Thursday, according to CNN.
Following his vote, the Senate will decide on Brooke Rollins' nomination for secretary of Agriculture. Later in the afternoon, at 1:45 p.m., senators will vote on whether to advance Howard Lutnick’s nomination for secretary of Commerce and Kelly Loeffler’s nomination to lead the Small Business Administration.
The Senate Finance Committee voted 14-13 along party lines last week to advance Kennedy's nomination. Following the vote, shares of major vaccine makers, including Moderna, Pfizer and BioNTech, dropped as investors anticipated potential policy changes under his leadership.
