US advises citizens against staying in Ukraine

United States Department of State issued an advisory on Ukraine over raising concerns that American civilian and government infrastructure could be targeted by Russia, according to Politico.

The US Embassy reportedly advised its citizens in Ukraine to immediately leave the country using ground transportation if it is safe to make the trip.

On July 19, US citizens were strongly advised against traveling by land from Russia to Ukraine as the situation along the border was accessed as "dangerous and unpredictable."
