US futures back in the red, Dow slumps 500 pts

Major stock exchanges on Wall Street traded with losses in the premarket on Thursday after yesterday's magnificent rally prompted by United States President Donald Trump's decision to postpone the implementation of his reciprocal tariffs for most countries.

Meanwhile, Washington and Beijing continue their trade war, with China accusing the US of using duties as a weapon.

The Dow Jones shed 1.27% or 520 points at 4:04 am ET. A minute later, the Nasdaq 100 dropped 2% and the S&P 500 slumped 1.63%.

The euro traded 0.68% above the dollar at 4:06 am ET, selling at 1.10224.
