US beats Serbia to reach Olympics men's basketball final

The United States beat Serbia 95-91 in the semifinal men's basketball match at the Paris Summer Olympics on Thursday.

Serbia maintained a lead for the first 35 minutes of the game but the US overcame the deficit in the last quarter and managed to score a victory in the very last minutes of the match that was played in the Bercy Arena in Paris. Serbia also had a 17-point lead at one point during the hotly contested duel, while the most efficient player was Stephen Curry. Serbia's team won the first three quarters, 31-23, 23-20, and 22-20, but lost the last quarter 15-32, a difference which proved decisive.

In the final, the US team will face France, which defeated Germany in the first semifinal.
