The United States characterized Sunday's fourth round of indirect nuclear talks with Iran as "encouraging," according to a senior US administration official quoted by CNN.
The discussions in Muscat, Oman, lasted over three hours and focused on narrowing technical differences related to Iran's nuclear program.
"Agreement was reached to move forward with the talks to continue working through technical elements," the official said. US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff engaged in direct and indirect exchanges with Iranian representatives.
