US cautions Russia not to step 'an inch' on NATO territory

United States President Joe Biden stated on Saturday, during a press briefing in Warsaw, that Russia should not even "think about moving on one single inch of NATO territory."

"We have a sacred obligation under Article 5 to defend each and every inch of NATO territory," asserted Biden adding that "a criminal [Putin] wants to portray a NATO enlargement as an imperial project aimed at destabilizing Russia. Nothing is true. NATO is a defensive alliance."

"Rather than driving NATO apart, the West is now stronger and more united than it has ever been. Russia wanted less of a NATO presence on its borders, but now it has a stronger, larger presence," emphasized Biden.
