Major US indexes closed higher on Wednesday after the minutes from the Federal Open Market Committee's (FOMC) last policy meeting were published.
Minutes from the Fed's July meeting indicated that most officials favor easing monetary policy if upcoming data aligns with expectations.
At the close, the Dow Jones gained 0.14%, with Intel rising 2.00%. The Nasdaq 100 added 0.53%, Ross Stores was leading the gains, improving by 4.23%. The S&P 500 rose 0.42%, as Keysight Technologies advanced by 13.91%
On the currency front, the euro improved by 0.23% against the dollar at 3:57 pm ET, selling for $1.11550.
