The indexes remained in the red zone at closing. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 0.25% or 97 points lower with Chevron Corporation losing by 2.57%. The S&P 500 fell 0.12% and the Nasdaq 100 lost 0.42% as Tesla dragged down by plunging 7.16%.
The euro traded 0.17% higher against the dollar at 3:58 pm ET to sell for $1.08561.
