Equities in the United States traded lower in the premarket on Tuesday in anticipation of the updates on housing prices, job openings, and consumer confidence, with investors also keeping the Federal Reserve's monetary policy decision scheduled for the next day in mind. Tuesday will also see the latest earnings results from major companies such as Alphabet Inc., Microsoft Corporation, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) and Pfizer Inc.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined by 0.11% at 4:28 am ET. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 dropped by 0.06%. The S&P 500 decreased by 0.09%.
The euro dipped by 0.09% against the dollar to sell for $1.08210 at 4:29 am ET.
