Major Wall Street indexes traded lower in the premarket on Wednesday following the presidential debate between United States Vice President Kamala Harris and former US President Donald Trump. Investors are awaiting the August report on consumer prices from the US Department of Labor Statistics, which will be issued later today.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by 0.29%, while the Nasdaq 100 declined 0.19% and S&P 500 lost 0.21% at 4:27 am ET.
The euro traded 0.22% higher against the dollar and sold for 1.10439 at 4:28 am ET.
