Equities in the United States experienced a decline during premarket trading on Thursday, as investors awaited the latest update on jobless claims and data regarding gas and crude inventories by the Energy Information Administration (EIA). Later today, shareholders will closely monitor speeches from several Federal Reserve Bank presidents.
The Dow Jones went down by 0.04% at 4:16 am ET, the Nasdaq 100 lost 0.61% at the same time, and the S&P 500 fell by 0.28%.
The euro was down 0.15% versus the dollar, trading at 1.07108 at 4:16 am ET.
