Wall Street spiraled further below the line in the market session on Friday as investors weighed in on the latest data while also bracing themselves for the incoming tariffs next week. United States saw the release of the latest consumer confidence report, which revealed the figure dropped in March, while the personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index stayed unchanged.
The Dow Jones lost 0.96% or 400 pts at 10:19 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 declined by 1.49% and the S&P 500 fell by 1.12%. The euro gained 0.25% against the dollar to go for 1.08271 at 10:30 am ET.
