New orders for manufactured goods in the United States stood at $592 billion in June, representing an increase of 2.3% on a monthly basis, the US Census Bureau announced in a full report on Thursday.
According to the report, shipments went up by 0.1% to reach $573.9 billion. Unfilled orders increased by 1.8% to $1.33 trillion. Inventories decreased by $0.3 billion to $853.1 billion.
The stocks/shipments ratio was 1.49, unchanged from the previous month. New orders for manufactured durable and nondurable goods rose by 4.6% and 0.1%.
