The United States stock futures traded higher on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones futures rising by more than 280 points, after the country's Department of Labor Statistics published the latest report on consumer prices, showing that the annual inflation rate remained unchanged at 2.7% in July, despite analysts expecting it to slightly rise compared to June's figure.
The Dow Jones futures advanced by 0.65% or 286 points at 8:42 am ET. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq 100 climbed by 0.77% at 8:41 am ET, and the S&P 500 increased by 0.66% at the same time.
The euro gained 0.24% against the dollar at 8:47 am ET and went for $1.16432.
