US higher in premarket, Fed's Beige Book in limelight

Major stock indexes in the United States traded higher in the premarket on Wednesday, with investors anticipating the release of the Federal Reserve’s latest Beige Book, which will give an overview of the general economic conditions in the country.

Certain Fed officials are also expected to give speeches later during the day. On the data front, the report on the US trade balance is scheduled to be revealed sometime before the market open.

The Dow Jones rose 0.16% at 4:10 am ET. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 added 0.33% and the S&P 500 gained 0.18%. The euro traded 0.17% higher against the dollar at 4:11 am ET, to sell for 0.99221.
