Following North Korea's nuclear test with what was apparently a second-generation bomb, United States Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin told Fox News on Sunday that President Donald Trump made it clear the government won't "broadcast" its actions, but that "he'll consider everything." He revealed another round of punitive measures are in the pipeline.
In the Treasury secretary's words, "much more" can be done against the isolated state's "unacceptable behavior," including together with the most populous country. "I'm going to draft a sanctions package to send to the president for his strong consideration, that anybody that wants to do trade or business with them would be prevented from doing trade or business with us. We are going to work with our allies, we'll work with China, but people need to cut off North Korea economically," he said.
