The 4-week moving average was 229,500, a decrease of 6,250 from the previous week's revised average.
The insured unemployment rate was 1.3% for the week ending July 5, unchanged from the previous week, with the total insured unemployment standing at 1,956,000, rising by 2,000 from the previous week. The 4-week moving average was 1,957,500, an increase of 4,750 from the previous week's revised average.
