US judge blocks Trump's order targeting law firm

United States Federal Judge John Bates froze parts of US President Donald Trump's executive order aimed at Jenner & Block, one of the two law firms connected to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of Trump.

Bates' temporary order pauses some parts of Trump's executive order, which instructed agencies to terminate all contracts with the firm and its clientele, along with limiting the law firm's access to federal officials and buildings.
