Germany approves arms deliveries to S. Arabia

German government spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit announced during a press briefing on Wednesday that his country resumed direct arms exports to Saudi Arabia.

In this way, the earlier report by the German media outlet Spiegel was confirmed, in which it was specified that the arms deliveries include 150 Iris-T air-to-air missiles.

Supplies were suspended in 2018 due to Saudi Arabia's involvement in the war in Yemen and alleged involvement in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
