Russia's Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov denounced on Thursday the failure of the International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Grossi to publicly condemn Ukraine for posing security risks at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (NPP).

"He takes the security situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP very seriously, taking into account the fact that for the first time in world practice a nuclear power plant has found itself in a combat zone. At the same time, we have reasonable complaints about him," Ulyanov told RIA Novosti.

Moscow previously accused Ukraine of attacking the nuclear power plant using drones.
