US lower in premarket with retail sales in focus

Major Wall Street stock indexes traded lower during premarket hours on Friday ahead of the United States Census Bureau's report on October's retail sales. Investors also awaited the report on industrial production in the US and the results from the New York Federal Reserve Bank's survey on business conditions for New York manufacturers.

The Dow Jones Industrial fell by 0.41% at 4:30 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 dropped by 0.85%. At the same time, the S&P 500 decreased by 0.59%.

The euro gained 0.47% against the dollar, selling for $1.05700 at 4:29 am ET.
