Stock markets on Wall Street traded lower during Friday's premarket hours as the Federal Reserve officials appeared cautious despite the recently reported slowing in the inflation rate, seemingly diminishing hopes of potential monetary easing.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 0.07% at 4:26 am ET, coming down from the 40,000 mark it topped the day before. The Nasdaq 100 declined 0.10% and the S&P 500 fell 0.11%.
The euro was down 0.16% against the dollar, going for 1.08501 a minute later.
