Markets on Wall Street closed higher as investors digested the latest United States consumer prices report, which showed that the country's annual inflation declined more than expected and stood at 3% in June.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.26%. The best performer was Salesforce, whose shares increased 2.76%.
The Nasdaq 100 jumped 1.24%. PDD Holdings, up 6.05%, led the gains.
The S&P 500 climbed 0.75%. Domino's Pizza soared 11.09% after the company struck a deal with Uber's Uber Eats and Postmates apps to deliver its products.
The euro rallied 1.16% against the dollar to sell for 1.11361 at 3:58 pm ET.
