Stock markets in the United States traded mostly with gains in the premarket on Thursday with a new set of economic reports coming up later today. The retail sales figures for September will be out before the opening bell along with the weekly initial jobless claims, followed by releases on industrial production, business inventories and the housing market. The biggest companies reporting their earnings today will be Blackstone and Netflix.
The Dow Jones was flat at 4:16 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 rose by 0.55% and the S&P 500 added 0.20%.
The euro lost just 0.05% against the dollar at 4:17 am ET, going for 1.08564.
