Crude oil inventories in the United States dropped by 2.67 million barrels in the week ending April 14, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) reportedly revealed on Tuesday. The figure marks a larger-than-expected weekly draw.
Reserves in Cushing, Oklahoma, allegedly dropped by 600,000 barrels. Gasoline stockpiles fell by 1 million barrels, and distillate inventories slumped by 1.9 million barrels, according to the report.
