Crude oil inventories in the United States increased by 4.29 million barrels in the week that ended May 9, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) allegedly showed on Tuesday.
In the reported week, distillate inventories allegedly rose by 3.67 million barrels, while gasoline stockpiles declined by 1.37 million barrels. Meanwhile, reserves in Cushing, Oklahoma, reportedly decreased by 850,000 barrels during the same period.
