The military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, the Al-Quds Brigades announced that it had carried out an operation in alliance with the Martyr Jihad Jibril Brigades. They bombed the command post of the Israeli Defense Forces engineering unit in the Netzarim Corridor, the area of the Gaza Strip designated as a zone of occupation by the Israeli forces, Al Jazeera reported.
Ahmed Ghazal, the local Fatah party chief for the village of Kisan near Bethlehem in the West Bank, said that dozens of Israeli settlers had conducted an attack on the Palestinian community in which they burned tents and attacked sheep headers. Ghazal told the Wafa news agency that about 30 settlers were involved. It's not known whether the injured require hospitalization. Neither the IDF nor the Israeli Police have commented on the incident.
