US opens mostly higher ahead of business data

Wall Street opened mostly higher on Friday ahead of September's report on business activity that will be published shortly after the stock markets start trading. Investors are still digesting the recent Federal Reserve's decision to maintain the interest rates without changes and the remarks on possible future raises.

The Dow Jones lost 0.06%, with Johnson &Johnson declining 0.48%. The S&P 500 rose 0.23%, as Wynn Resorts Limited advanced by 3.00%. The Nasdaq 100 added 0.42%, as Seagen was leading the gains, improving by 3.51% at 9:32 am ET.

The euro was down by 0.11% against the dollar at 9:29 am ET, exchanging for $1.06488.
