The Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen will start the Formula 1 British Grand Prix from the pole position after winning the qualifying session on Saturday.

McLaren's Oscar Piastri came in second, while his teammate Lando Norris and Mercedes' George Russell, who were third and fourth, respectively, will begin tomorrow's race from the second row.

"It was tricky out there with the wind. It was shifting around a bit. These cars are extremely sensitive to it. That final lap was good enough," Verstappen said in a post-qualifying interview.
