The United States Department of State announced that the country's embassy in Jerusalem would resume operations on Wednesday after the ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
The order for US government employees and their families to shelter in place has been lifted, the State Department said. "US government employees and their family members are restricted from travel outside the greater Tel Aviv (including Herzliya, Netanya, and Even Yehuda), Jerusalem, and Be'er Sheva areas until further notice," the statement added.
However, travel between these three areas is allowed, including to and from Ben Gurion Airport.
