Wall Street traded higher ahead of the opening bell on Friday as the earnings season continued. Apple gained 3.5% in the premarket after it praised its "best quarter ever" in its earnings release yesterday, while Chevron, ExxonMobil and Colgate-Palmolive are among the companies reporting today. The Federal Reserve will keep its eye on the PCE price index for December coming out before the trading session, with analysts expecting it to tick up compared to November's 2.4%.
The Dow Jones climbed by 0.36% at 4:23 am ET, the Nasdaq 100 added 0.73% and the S&P 500 grew by 0.39%.
The euro traded 0.35% lower compared to the dollar at 4:23 am ET, going for 1.03675.
