The United States Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced on Thursday that it decided to include a Central African Republic company in the Russia-related sanctions list for its alleged links with the Wagner Group.
In June 2017, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated Wagner Group as complicit in actions that threatened the peace and sovereignty of Ukraine. Since then, Wagner has also been sanctioned by Australia, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the European Union.
