US sanctions more actors interfering in 2024 election

The United States Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) revealed on Tuesday in a notice that it added more individuals and entities to its list of foreign actors interfering in the country's 2024 presidential election.

It was revealed that among those sanctioned are individuals and entities tied to Russia and Iran.

Meanwhile, a day earlier, the Treasury shared that some of its workstations were hacked earlier in December by actors related to China, gaining access to some unclassified documents.
