White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Tuesday that the financial aid the US gives to Ukraine needs to continue flowing amid the support given to other countries.

Answering a question on the possibility that Ukraine may lose the conflict against Russia if no further assistance is delivered from Washington, Jean-Pierre insisted that Kiev is still a priority when thinking about directing funding that will help the country "to defend itself," not just for the US but for the allies, partners and "more than 50 countries" that have assisted during the two years of combats.

Earlier, it was reported that Democrats were seeking to encourage Republicans in the Senate to back a newer package for Ukraine.
