The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) on Sunday announced it conducted two targeted airstrikes in Syria, killing 37 members of terrorist organizations, including key leaders from ISIS and Hurras al-Din.
On September 24, a strike in northwest Syria resulted in the deaths of nine operatives. Earlier, on September 16, a significant airstrike on an ISIS training camp killed at least 28 militants, including several senior leaders.
"These strikes against leadership and operatives of ISIS and the Al Qaeda affiliate, Hurras al-Din, represent CENTCOM's commitment to the enduring defeat of terrorist organizations in the CENTCOM area of responsibility and our support to regional stability," CENTCOM commander, Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla said.
