US stocks turn to gains in premarket trading

Major US stock markets traded higher in Wednesday's premarket session amid the release of new earnings reports from major companies and ahead of new economic data.

Yesterday Netflix posted better-than-expected results. The firm said its third-quarter fiscal 2022 revenue rose 5.9% to $7.93 billion, with 2.41 million subscribers. On the other side, United Airlines Q3 revenue surged 65% to $12.9 billion. Today Tesla and IBM will post their corporate results in after-hours trading.

The Dow Jones gained 0.31% at 6:01 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 added 0.73%, and the S&P 500 rose 0.47%. The euro traded 0.41% lower against the dollar, going for 0.98143 at 5:57 am ET.
