A United States delegation is expected to visit India for trade negotiations in the coming weeks, Indian media reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the matter. They added that the two sides are "likely" to sign an interim trade deal before the 9 July deadline.
A source said the talks are moving "at a fast pace," following Indian officials' visit to the US last week. According to a previous report last week, the US will grant India a partial waiver on the 26% tariff on Indian exports, with some goods exempt and some subjected to a 10% duty.
