US to be 'ready to react' when Nord Stream probe completes

The United States will be "ready to react" once the investigation into the damage to the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines is completed, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Wednesday.

An investigation by western European countries is underway and it will "take time to see who's behind" the incident, she told reporters at the White House.

All attacks on the infrastructure of US allies are "concerning," she underlined.
