The goods trade deficit in the United States stood at $83.3 billion in November, according to a preliminary report by the Bureau of Economic Analysis on Tuesday. The deficit fell from $98.8 billion in October and landed much lower than the estimated $96.3 billion.
Exports amounted to $168.9 billion in November, declining by $5.3 billion compared to the previous month. Imports came to $252.2 billion, dropping $20.8 billion compared to the total of imports in October.
