US up premarket ahead of key earnings, data

United States stock markets traded with gains before Thursday's session following yesterday's earnings reports. Meta gained almost 3% in the premarket after a strong fourth-quarter showing, while Tesla rose by 2.82% despite its revenue missing estimates. Today's schedule will include Blackstone, Mastercard, Intel, Visa, and Apple, among others. The preliminary report on GDP growth in the fourth quarter will be released today as well, followed by weekly jobless claims and pending home sales for December.

The Dow Jones added 0.40% or 185 points, the Nasdaq 100 improved by 0.65% and the S&P 500 increased by 0.44% at 4:24 am ET.

The euro traded flat against the dollar and went for 1.0406 at 4:25 am ET.

US mostly flat premarket ahead of housing data
Major United States stock indexes were little changed in the premarket on Tuesday.
