White House National Security Council expressed on Monday concerns over China's latest military activities near Taiwan, labeling them as "provocative" and "destabilizing."
"We will continue to assist Taiwan in maintaining a sufficient self-defense capability in line with our long-standing commitments and consistent with our one-China policy," the council underlined in a statement.
Previously, Taiwan reported that a total of 71 Chinese combat aircraft passed the Taiwan Strait's median line, over the past 24 hours.
