Ubisoft to cut 200 jobs across Europe

Ubisoft Entertainment SA will be lowering its headcount across Europe, Les Echos reported on Monday.

According to the information it obtained, the media outlet revealed that almost 200 workers will be laid off, which is a bit over 1% of the company's global workforce. It was specified that 100 jobs would be slashed in the United Kingdom, 65 in Germany, and 20 in Sweden.

Ubisoft confirmed the news, telling the media outlet that in its cost-reduction efforts, it decided to have targeted restructuring at the offices of Ubisoft Dusseldorf, Ubisoft Stockholm, and Ubisoft Reflections.
