The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the Oryol region in western Russia on Thursday, causing a power outage throughout the Glazunov and Sverdlovsk districts located in the region.

The AFU utilized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the attack, although the exact number was not reported by the governor of the assaulted region, Andrey Klychkov, who shared that "a number of households" lost power.

"Emergency services are working at the scene, the consequences of the attack are being eliminated, and power supply is being restored," he stated in a post on Telegram.
