The total volume export of grain from Ukraine during September amounted to 2.1 million tons, marking a 10% decline on a monthly basis, the country's Agribusiness Club (UCAB) reported on Tuesday.
In the reported month, the overall quantity of agricultural products shipped from Ukraine decreased by 3% compared to August exports, reaching a total of 4.2 million tons.
The association attributed the decline in the export rate to Russia's "daily" shelling of the Ukrainian infrastructure at Danube river ports, projecting a "gradual" recovery of exports next month through the temporary sea corridor which was established without the participation of Moscow.
