Ukraine receives $1.35B from US for aid programs

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated on Wednesday that the country had received a $1.35 billion grant from the United States.

"The US Government provided the funding through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and in coordination with the US Department of the Treasury and the US Department of State. We are grateful to our American partners for this support," the minister said on social media.

Moreover, Shmyhal added that the funding will be directed toward humanitarian and social programs.
